What the request form collects
Your name, firm, file number, phone number and email address; the location and timing of the serve; the name and address of the party to be served; any instructions you add; and the documents you attach.
What it is used for
Only to carry out and record the service you request: dispatching the serve, preparing and swearing the affidavit, and invoicing. Party details and documents are not used for any other purpose and are not sold or shared with anyone outside the work, other than the court registry when filing is requested.
Retention
Service records, including the attempt log and the affidavit, are kept for seven years to answer questions about a serve and to meet accounting requirements. Documents attached to a request are kept for the same period unless you ask us to delete them once service is complete.
Storage and access
Submissions arrive by email at our office inbox and are stored with our accounting and file records. Access is limited to the people who work on the file.
